Kaitlyn is the cutest in that video! I was just rewatching some W&P programs because apparently I wanted to be sad to the tune of "SOS d'un terrien," so hopping back over to On-Ice Perspectives is a great way to cheer up. She and Andrew are doing the Stars on Ice tour in Canada this fall, which I'm kind of mixed on beyond just the standard pandemic uncertainty. Plenty of skaters I like are in the cast, but running it during the season means a lot of other people I'd love to see are guaranteed not to be there. On the other hand, the next tour will be post-Olympics and may fill the cast with current competitors at the cost of these retired folks. It's a dilemma! (An actual competition within practical driving distance would be the dream. Unfortunately, the midwest.)

さっとんが書いた本を読んでみたい！再来週シカゴ・オヘア空港に行く予定だから、近くの紀伊國屋で見つけたら買っちゃおうかな。最近、bilibiliでスターズオンアイス日本２０１９，２０２１を何回もみてて、「あっ、もしかして来季が・・・楽しみなのか？本当はFSが大好きなのか？あんなくだらないシーズン（のロシア女子）にあきただけ？」といきなり気づいちゃった。なんか、さっとんのビールマンに癒されたって感じだった。それはさっとんマジック！

マジックといえば、日本語の勉強として「魔女の宅急便その２～キキと新しい魔法」を読んで英訳している。友達の娘は第1巻の新しい英訳版がすっごく気に入ったんで、続きをすぐ読めたらいいなぁと思って。第2～6巻の英訳版が出版されるかどうかは知らないし、ジブリ映画のおかげで読者は第1巻以外に興味が薄いかもね。「キキ」シリーズの読解レベルは小学校中級のだから、単語や漢字がほとんど全部分かるけど辞書を引かなきゃ時もやっぱりある。特にオノマトペの場合は！一生勉強してもオノマトペ覚えられないのかな。
