I always like wings (any kind), magical effects or elements, and flowers (crowns, symbolic, presents, hanahaki, go crazy)

Onmyouji
Relationships:
I would love anything with period details and that evokes the feeling of the period, both in court (the court culture was ridiculous and glorious all at once, I love it) and out of it. I also love all kinds of spirits, ghosts, and goblins, especially tsukumogami, and any use of magic.
General prompts:
Any kind of casefic would be great; maybe one where Hiromasa is the one to save the day - perhaps Seimei has managed to get himself incapacitated or in trouble despite all of his magical knowledge, or perhaps knowing music (or the latest court gossip) is the key to smoothing everything over. Inheriting Lady Aone's spirit had unexpected side effects; maybe Hiromasa simply gets an expanded lifespan like hers (in which case, fic set in the future at any point could be fun), or maybe it's something more interesting/scary than that. Hiromasa is supposed to get married to some nice Heian lady at some point, but somehow things just keep going wrong whenever his family tries to arrange a match. Music and its power (or simply its loveliness). Flower language or other ways of speaking without words. Telling too many ghost stories is a bad idea and Hiromasa and Seimei have to deal with the consequences. Use of fans (for hiding, for a canvas or to write on, for magic). AU where Seimei isn't the only one with unusual heritage. What's it like living in this terrifying Heian world where demons are around every corner and onmyouji are a threat, for the rich or the poor?

What kind of paperwork does the Bureau of Divination demand from Seimei? Was there any paperwork to be done after the events of either movie, or any of their other adventures? Does either of them keep a diary? Or perhaps it's the diary of someone who needs their help or observes them at court? What do later academics make of the legends of Seimei and Hiromasa, or what conclusions do they draw from records of the movies' events? Do contemporary onmyouji have anything to say about Seimei's methods?

I think either a casefic-style IF or a 'make choices in a day in the life of (Hiromasa, Seimei, Mitsumushi, a shikigami, etc?)' would be fun! Maybe Hiromasa has a lot of choices to make in his attempt to woo Seimei, or Seimei needs to interpret some ambiguous star-signs?
Medium Opt In: Video - Fanvid
Atmospheric horror would work well for this canon, although I wouldn't say no to a romance fanvid or even comedy with intentionally jarring music, either. I think setting one to older traditional music would be fun, or something like Yoshida Brothers, but feel free to use modern music from anywhere as well.

Medium Opt In: Writing - Rashomon (1950)-style Conflicting Narratives
Heian era + creepypasta sounds like a fun mix of styles. Or maybe spooks and demons are still bothering people (and running into Hiromasa and Seimei) in modern Japan. Rashomon narratives would work really well for any kind of supernatural incident - or maybe on that only seems supernatural? (Note: one of the things I like about the original Rashomon movie is that we never get the 'true story' and that every witness is biased, even the woodsman, so I would also enjoy that in a Rashomon plot story.)
Morose Mononokean
Relationships:
Abeno Haruitsuki/Ashiya Hanae
I liked seeing that slow build of trust between them throughout the manga - would that continue until they fall in love, or would love come on more suddenly? With them being raised in such different ways, would they have different ideas about romance? What is their relationship going to look like when they're older, or how will they divide their time between worlds? Something with flower language? The Mononokean designs their wedding.
Abeno Haruitsuki/The Executive
There's so much potential for these two to have such a complicated relationship – Itsuki is a human who lives in the youkai world, and the Executive hates humans; but he's also the master of the Mononokean and the ward of Aoi, who the Executive was apparently fond of, and an impressive student. There's this push/pull between them with the whole almost-killing-Ashiya incident and the way the Executive touches him. How might that dynamic change post-canon with Itsuki finishing growing up, Aoi back in at least some form, and Hanae out of the picture for the moment? Perhaps without Hanae around, Itsuki ends up overworking himself, and the workaholic Executive spots it? Or perhaps Itsuki starts having nightmares (of giant flaming Aoi pinning him down? Hanae almost getting killed? all of the above?) and the Executive gets involved when it's clear he's exhausted. The Executive has a Chinese motif, so perhaps he would be useful to consult if the Mononokean receives a request from a Chinese youkai or something related to China?
Aoi & Abeno Haruitsuki
There are still so many unanswered questions about their past together. What exactly was the incident that led to Aoi meeting him/taking him on? How did they become so close afterward? Itsuki's parents are alive and well, according to the official fanbook, so, like, did Aoi pretend to be a distant relative or kind neighbor or something to cover up for taking him to the Underworld all the time, or what? How is their relationship going to be different once Aoi returns to their normal self and relieves the Princess, and what does Aoi think of everything Itsuki did to bring them back? Itsuki dealing with Aoi's (perceived) death and not giving up on finding them alive. Would also be down for any kind of pre-canon adventure or few with the two of them
Ashiya Nara & Ashiya Hanae
The fanbook says that Hanae did tell his family about what happened with Sakae. Did Nara have any inklings before that? What's her reaction to this revelation, and how does she feel about Hanae being involved in this new world? Maybe her teaching him how to care for the shop/do flower arrangements when he was younger? Where there hints he could see youkai before he met Fuzzy? Hanae having to chase more youkai away from her. Flower language!
Solo: Aoi
What was Aoi doing before they (met, made?) the Mononokean? Did they use to be something else before they were a youkai? Have they been involved with humans before? What other faces have they worn as a shapeshifter? Is there a reason they're so good at shapeshifting or so powerful? What is their history with the Powers like? If they're a shapeshifter, do they have to buy clothes, or can they just design a new kimono and whatnot every time they want one?

What is the history of the Mononokean like? How did the whole Underworld setup get started? What about humans who still believe in youkai, even if they can't see them? How has the uneasy history between the groups gone, especially considering the existence of e.g. onmyouji, families that supposedly made deals with kitsune, etc?

We get to see a glimpse of Aoi's reports of the Mononokean's activity - what would more of that look like? How about Itsuki's reports? Maybe Hanae starts to write them eventually? Does someone keep a diary? What are the youkai academics writing about their history or the humans - or are any human academics hitting upon real youkai history?

Maybe a Mononokean request involves multiple youkai with multiple points of view on an argument that needs to be solved before they're exorcised. Or perhaps nobody quite agrees on some aspects of youkai history. (Note: one of the things I like about the original Rashomon movie is that we never get the 'true story' and that every witness is biased, even the woodsman, so I would also enjoy that in a Rashomon plot story.)
Yuri on Ice
Things I especially like in this fandom: Canon divergence AU. Dancing or skating together. Magical elements in the canon setting. Crying. Time travel or time loops. Skating as seduction or to send a message. Use of social media. The balance between rivalry and friendly or intimate relationships. Interesting costume and makeup choices and flexibility. Mirrors.
For non-Victuuri ships that include Victor or Yuuri, I am okay with something set pre-canon, an AU where they didn't get together, some kind of poly situation, or an off-screen breakup.

How does she see Yuuri's growth over the season or move to Russia - did she ever watch him? How did Minako feel about Yuuri moving away, coming back, or his whole adventure over the season, or what was it like introducing him to skating? Did any of them get consulted on costume design at some point (or sigh over someone showing up in some ridiculous outfit)?
Christophe Giacometti/Victor Nikiforov
Chris goes to train in St. Petersburg - either for a summer, or perhaps it's an AU where he trains with Yakov instead of Josef - and he and Victor spend a lot of time together. Alternatively, Victor spends a summer in Switzerland and perhaps accidentally lets on about his loneliness. In an AU with no banquet (or video, etc), how might Victor have connected with Chris instead? Chris's transformation from cute to sexy. Victor runs into Chris a little later when they first meet and gives him a kiss to go with the flower. Exploring sex and relationships together when they were younger.
Christophe Giacometti/Katsuki Yuuri/Victor Nikiforov
They discover that they both had past relationships/FWB arrangements with Chris and decide they'd like to do him together. Victor choreographs a sexy duo number for Chris and Yuuri, and it leads to an off-ice sexy trio. Established trio tries to figure out where they want to live together. Chris and Victor have a running joke about rewards for the winner, and then Yuuri goes and wins Worlds/the Olympics/etc. AU where Chris gets Yuuri to meet Victor properly earlier than in canon.
Katsuki Yuuri/Victor Nikiforov
Summer of Mutual Pining and Romantic Walks on the Beach. Give me all the practice for their Stammi Vicino duet or making new duet programs. Redecorating Victor's apartment after they move to Russia. After they retire, Victor wants to return to Hasetsu and Yuuri wants to stay in Russia - what to do? Rough moments in the life of the coach/student also the rival also the boyfriend. Yuuri is into Victor crying and Victor is into Yuuri being into that. Victor keeps trying to get Yuuri to wear his old costumes.
Katsuki Yuuri/Victor Nikiforov/Yuri Plisetsky
Yuri thought he got over his childish crush on Victor years ago and his slightly less childish crush on Yuuri more recently, but without realizing, the feelings creep up on him again. Yuuri and Victor try to get Yuri to join them but still have their communication issues, so he doesn't get it at first. Victor and Yuuri coach Yuri after retirement, and, well, dating the rival-turned-coach worked out for Yuuri, or Victor has more time to get involved with Yuri after his own retirement while Yuuri is still competing. H/C after Yuri pushes himself too hard and hurts himself, or around the aches and pains that build up in a professional athlete.
Katsuki Yuuri & Yuri Plisetsky
We see the Katsudon Piroshki of Friendship - what else might they exchange? What does Yuuri give Yuri for his birthday? They have the same name; what else is similar between them? Yuuri watching Yuri or Yuri watching Yuuri before they met in person. Yuuri asked Yuri to help with his quad salchow, but what might Yuri ask Yuuri to help him with skating-wise in the future? Either Victor makes a Yuri² exhibition for them or the two of them make one themselves.
Lilia Baranovskaya/Yakov Feltsman
How did they meet? Do they fall in love a second time? (Maybe they've been married more than once??) First time or last time. Ups and downs of living together and sharing a space again (plus one grumpy teenager, even). Maybe post-divorce, they have a hook-up at the GPF (or some other competition), whether or not that turns out to be a good idea. (Maybe it happens more than once.) A dance together. Going skating for funsies together somewhere romantic, outside, and far away from their students.
Mila Babicheva/Sara Crispino
Pretty girls in pretty costumes who are also viciously fighting to be the number one in the world - how does that work when their personal relationship changes? Did Mila admire Sara when she was younger, before they started competing together? Mila lifting Sara. Sara lifting Mila? Sara's complicated relationship with her brother puts a strain on their relationship. Sara performs such a sexy exhibition number that Mila doesn't have the patience to wait for her to get out of the costume.
Phichit Chulanont/Katsuki Yuuri
How did they meet and get together? The obvious answer is 'training together in Detroit', but what other possibilities are there? Met at Four Continents? Phichit trained in Japan for a bit or did some kind of high school study abroad program to Kinki Daigaku Yuuri's first summer there? Yuuri got dragged along on a trip to help develop skating in Thailand? Alternatively, what if Yuuri had stayed in Detroit after all, or gone to Bangkok with Phichit and Celestino? Staying up late to play games and make out together. 'Shall We Skate?': the Duet version.

The show included social media so naturally, and it's only become a bigger part of an athlete's 'brand' since then, so I'd love any more exploration of that, whether it's the social media of the skaters or of the fans! It would also be interesting to see more of their interactions with traditional media and how they're portrayed there. How are relationships revealed or speculated upon? What are the characters saying in interviews? Are the advertisements for their competitions, for Hasetsu or somewhere else, or the usual blades/boots/athlete wear - or something a bit stranger?

Imagine: Yakov the coach with unruly students is now Yakov the exchange moderator :D Other ideas that came to mind are someone getting their crush as a recip and trying to tailor the perfect gift, roping in the subject matter expert, oh no I got two gifts from clearly different authors how will I satisfy them both with my comments, attempting to divine who the anonymous author who gave them the gift of a lifetime is, last-minute drunk treating (write drunk, post drunk, freak out in the morning after reveals sober?).

What kind of paperwork does the Bureau of Divination demand from Seimei? Was there any paperwork to be done after the events of either movie, or any of their other adventures? Does either of them keep a diary? Or perhaps it's the diary of someone who needs their help or observes them at court? What do later academics make of the legends of Seimei and Hiromasa, or what conclusions do they draw from records of the movies' events? Do contemporary onmyouji have anything to say about Seimei's methods?

I think either a casefic-style IF or a 'make choices in a day in the life of (Hiromasa, Seimei, Mitsumushi, a shikigami, etc?)' would be fun! Maybe Hiromasa has a lot of choices to make in his attempt to woo Seimei, or Seimei needs to interpret some ambiguous star-signs?

Atmospheric horror would work well for this canon, although I wouldn't say no to a romance fanvid or even comedy with intentionally jarring music, either. I think setting one to older traditional music would be fun, or something like Yoshida Brothers, but feel free to use modern music from anywhere as well.

Medium Opt In: Writing - Rashomon (1950)-style Conflicting Narratives
Heian era + creepypasta sounds like a fun mix of styles. Or maybe spooks and demons are still bothering people (and running into Hiromasa and Seimei) in modern Japan. Rashomon narratives would work really well for any kind of supernatural incident - or maybe on that only seems supernatural? (Note: one of the things I like about the original Rashomon movie is that we never get the 'true story' and that every witness is biased, even the woodsman, so I would also enjoy that in a Rashomon plot story.)

Abeno Haruitsuki/Ashiya Hanae
I liked seeing that slow build of trust between them throughout the manga - would that continue until they fall in love, or would love come on more suddenly? With them being raised in such different ways, would they have different ideas about romance? What is their relationship going to look like when they're older, or how will they divide their time between worlds? Something with flower language? The Mononokean designs their wedding.
Abeno Haruitsuki/The Executive
There's so much potential for these two to have such a complicated relationship – Itsuki is a human who lives in the youkai world, and the Executive hates humans; but he's also the master of the Mononokean and the ward of Aoi, who the Executive was apparently fond of, and an impressive student. There's this push/pull between them with the whole almost-killing-Ashiya incident and the way the Executive touches him. How might that dynamic change post-canon with Itsuki finishing growing up, Aoi back in at least some form, and Hanae out of the picture for the moment? Perhaps without Hanae around, Itsuki ends up overworking himself, and the workaholic Executive spots it? Or perhaps Itsuki starts having nightmares (of giant flaming Aoi pinning him down? Hanae almost getting killed? all of the above?) and the Executive gets involved when it's clear he's exhausted. The Executive has a Chinese motif, so perhaps he would be useful to consult if the Mononokean receives a request from a Chinese youkai or something related to China?
Aoi & Abeno Haruitsuki
There are still so many unanswered questions about their past together. What exactly was the incident that led to Aoi meeting him/taking him on? How did they become so close afterward? Itsuki's parents are alive and well, according to the official fanbook, so, like, did Aoi pretend to be a distant relative or kind neighbor or something to cover up for taking him to the Underworld all the time, or what? How is their relationship going to be different once Aoi returns to their normal self and relieves the Princess, and what does Aoi think of everything Itsuki did to bring them back? Itsuki dealing with Aoi's (perceived) death and not giving up on finding them alive. Would also be down for any kind of pre-canon adventure or few with the two of them
Ashiya Nara & Ashiya Hanae
The fanbook says that Hanae did tell his family about what happened with Sakae. Did Nara have any inklings before that? What's her reaction to this revelation, and how does she feel about Hanae being involved in this new world? Maybe her teaching him how to care for the shop/do flower arrangements when he was younger? Where there hints he could see youkai before he met Fuzzy? Hanae having to chase more youkai away from her. Flower language!
Solo: Aoi
What was Aoi doing before they (met, made?) the Mononokean? Did they use to be something else before they were a youkai? Have they been involved with humans before? What other faces have they worn as a shapeshifter? Is there a reason they're so good at shapeshifting or so powerful? What is their history with the Powers like? If they're a shapeshifter, do they have to buy clothes, or can they just design a new kimono and whatnot every time they want one?

What is the history of the Mononokean like? How did the whole Underworld setup get started? What about humans who still believe in youkai, even if they can't see them? We get to see a glimpse of Aoi's reports of the Mononokean's activity - what would more of that look like? How about Itsuki's reports? Maybe Hanae starts to write them eventually? Does someone keep a diary? What are the youkai academics writing about their history or the humans - or are any human academics hitting upon real youkai history?

Are there any weird legends hanging around about a shapeshifting cat or mysterious tea shop that could be creepypastafied? Maybe a Mononokean request involves multiple youkai with multiple points of view on an argument that needs to be solved before they're exorcised. Or perhaps nobody quite agrees on some aspects of youkai history. (Note: one of the things I like about the original Rashomon movie is that we never get the 'true story' and that every witness is biased, even the woodsman, so I would also enjoy that in a Rashomon plot story.)
Yuri on Ice
Things I especially like in this fandom: Canon divergence AU. Dancing or skating together. Magical elements in the canon setting. Crying. Time travel or time loops. Skating as seduction or to send a message. Use of social media. The balance between rivalry and friendly or intimate relationships. Interesting costume and makeup choices and flexibility. Mirrors.
For non-Victuuri ships that include Victor or Yuuri, I am okay with something set pre-canon, an AU where they didn't get together, some kind of poly situation, or an off-screen breakup.

How have Yakov's students made him tear his hair out over the years, and is Yuuri going to be another one of them? Does Lilia cook with Yuri? What did she share with Victor or see in him post-canon? How does she see Yuuri's growth over the season or move to Russia - did she ever watch him? How did Minako feel about Yuuri moving away, coming back, or his whole adventure over the season, or what was it like introducing him to skating? Did any of them get consulted on costume design at some point (or sigh over someone showing up in some ridiculous outfit)?

Chris goes to train in St. Petersburg - either for a summer, or perhaps it's an AU where he trains with Yakov instead of Josef - and he and Victor spend a lot of time together. Alternatively, Victor spends a summer in Switzerland and perhaps accidentally lets on about his loneliness. In an AU with no banquet (or video, etc), how might Victor have connected with Chris instead? Chris's transformation from cute to sexy. Victor runs into Chris a little later when they first meet and gives him a kiss to go with the flower. Exploring sex and relationships together when they were younger.
Christophe Giacometti/Katsuki Yuuri/Victor Nikiforov
They discover that they both had past relationships/FWB arrangements with Chris and decide they'd like to do him together. Victor choreographs a sexy duo number for Chris and Yuuri, and it leads to an off-ice sexy trio. Established trio tries to figure out where they want to live together. Chris and Victor have a running joke about rewards for the winner, and then Yuuri goes and wins Worlds/the Olympics/etc. AU where Chris gets Yuuri to meet Victor properly earlier than in canon.
Katsuki Yuuri/Victor Nikiforov
Summer of Mutual Pining and Romantic Walks on the Beach. Give me all the practice for their Stammi Vicino duet or making new duet programs. Redecorating Victor's apartment after they move to Russia. After they retire, Victor wants to return to Hasetsu and Yuuri wants to stay in Russia - what to do? Rough moments in the life of the coach/student also the rival also the boyfriend. Yuuri is into Victor crying and Victor is into Yuuri being into that. Victor keeps trying to get Yuuri to wear his old costumes.
Katsuki Yuuri/Victor Nikiforov/Yuri Plisetsky
Yuri thought he got over his childish crush on Victor years ago and his slightly less childish crush on Yuuri more recently, but without realizing, the feelings creep up on him again. Yuuri and Victor try to get Yuri to join them but still have their communication issues, so he doesn't get it at first. Victor and Yuuri coach Yuri after retirement, and, well, dating the rival-turned-coach worked out for Yuuri, or Victor has more time to get involved with Yuri after his own retirement while Yuuri is still competing. H/C after Yuri pushes himself too hard and hurts himself, or around the aches and pains that build up in a professional athlete.
Katsuki Yuuri & Yuri Plisetsky
We see the Katsudon Piroshki of Friendship - what else might they exchange? What does Yuuri give Yuri for his birthday? They have the same name; what else is similar between them? Yuuri watching Yuri or Yuri watching Yuuri before they met in person. Yuuri asked Yuri to help with his quad salchow, but what might Yuri ask Yuuri to help him with skating-wise in the future? Either Victor makes a Yuri² exhibition for them or the two of them make one themselves.
Lilia Baranovskaya/Yakov Feltsman
How did they meet? Do they fall in love a second time? (Maybe they've been married more than once??) First time or last time. Ups and downs of living together and sharing a space again (plus one grumpy teenager, even). Maybe post-divorce, they have a hook-up at the GPF (or some other competition), whether or not that turns out to be a good idea. (Maybe it happens more than once.) A dance together. Going skating for funsies together somewhere romantic, outside, and far away from their students.
Mila Babicheva/Sara Crispino
Pretty girls in pretty costumes who are also viciously fighting to be the number one in the world - how does that work when their personal relationship changes? Did Mila admire Sara when she was younger, before they started competing together? Mila lifting Sara. Sara lifting Mila? Sara's complicated relationship with her brother puts a strain on their relationship. Sara performs such a sexy exhibition number that Mila doesn't have the patience to wait for her to get out of the costume.
Phichit Chulanont/Katsuki Yuuri
How did they meet and get together? The obvious answer is 'training together in Detroit', but what other possibilities are there? Met at Four Continents? Phichit trained in Japan for a bit or did some kind of high school study abroad program to Kinki Daigaku Yuuri's first summer there? Yuuri got dragged along on a trip to help develop skating in Thailand? Alternatively, what if Yuuri had stayed in Detroit after all, or gone to Bangkok with Phichit and Celestino? Staying up late to play games and make out together. 'Shall We Skate?': the Duet version.

The show included social media so naturally, and it's only become a bigger part of an athlete's 'brand' since then, so I'd love any more exploration of that, whether it's the social media of the skaters or of the fans! It would also be interesting to see more of their interactions with traditional media and how they're portrayed there. How are relationships revealed or speculated upon? What are the characters saying in interviews? Are the advertisements for their competitions, for Hasetsu or somewhere else, or the usual blades/boots/athlete wear - or something a bit stranger?
