I decided to do laundry late last night. Z asked me if I couldn't do it the next day... but it turned out to be a good thing that I did, because I went down and discovered that a pipe was leaking 😬 Thankfully, we found it before it did much damage. The only way to turn water off to that pipe was to turn water off to the house, so we were mostly without water till this afternoon, which was annoying, but it could have been much worse.

Happier news: checked the garden plot today, and the daikon has sprouted :D And I have tomorrow off, so extra time to write and play video games with Z after he finishes his work (and catch up on my poor, neglected Japanese orz).

I also saw the speech path again and received a lot of exercises that were introduced with "This one is usually given to Parkinson's patients...", so I guess they make up a lot of the population that has volume problems. I'm not looking forward to doing them as I don't enjoy it, but hopefully they'll get less blegh to do as my muscles get better at it. Z couldn't pick me up afterward as he was waiting for the pipe repair people, so I walked home - my favorite cafe that had been closed for a bit was open again, and I was able to get a nice lunch sandwich from them and enjoy the spring weather now that it finally stopped raining :)
